Straight answers about care at Serene Integrative Services

If your question isn't answered here, call the clinic at (208) 719-7158 — we'd rather answer it directly than have you guess.

Getting started

  • Do I need a referral? Not for most services. Some insurance plans require one — we check when we verify benefits.
  • How soon can I be seen? Same-week consultations are usually available.
  • What should I bring? Insurance card, photo ID, medication list, and any relevant records.

Therapy

  • How often are sessions? Weekly to start, then spaced out as you stabilize.
  • Do you offer telehealth? Yes, for most adult and teen services in Idaho.
  • What if my therapist isn't a good fit? Tell us and we'll re-match you. Fit drives outcomes.

TMS

  • Is TMS painful? Most describe a tapping sensation that fades in comfort after the first week.
  • How long is a session? About 20 minutes, five days a week for roughly six weeks.
  • Can I drive afterward? Yes — no sedation and no cognitive after-effects.
  • Will I stop my medication? No, TMS is delivered alongside current medications.

Privacy and confidentiality

  • Is my information private? Yes, protected under HIPAA, with the standard legal exceptions for imminent risk and suspected abuse.
  • Will my employer know? No. We do not disclose treatment to employers without your written authorization.
  • Can teens have private sessions? Yes, with confidentiality boundaries explained to families at intake.

Cost and insurance

  • Do you accept my insurance? We accept most major plans, Medicare, Medicaid, and TRICARE. We verify yours specifically.
  • What will I pay? We tell you your expected cost in writing before your first session.
  • Do you offer self-pay? Yes, for every service, with rates provided on request.
